e-con systems provides services and support around 802.11a/b/g technology. e-con shall be able to guide customers to help implementing Wireless solutions on their platforms. e-con provides the following services in Wireless technology.
 
Selecting the correct chipset - e-con Systems has proven expertise in Atheros chipsets and encourages its customers to use them in their designs. Atheros has lot of chipsets from OEM modules to CF and SDIO based solutions. It is important to choose the right chipset to support the customer's application. e-con systems has successfully implemented solutions based on AR5312, AR5212 for its customers.
 
Driver development - e-con systems has extensive experience on Atheros chipsets. e-con systems can help the customer develop drivers in VxWorks, Linux and Windows CE for Atheros chipsets such as AR5212, AR5213 etc.
 
BSP /Application Porting - e-con systems provides cross platform BSP porting such as porting from one Atheros chipset to another.
 

Mesh services - e-con Systems offers mesh services in the following areas:

  • Algorithms for interference detection and mitigation in the unlicensed Wireless band (802.11a - 5.8Ghz and 802.11b/g - 2.4)

  • Dynamic rerouting algorithms based on throughput.

  • Consultancies for the system Integrator for setting up Wireless mesh networking like choosing the OSS provider, Mesh equipment provider and public access gateways
