Capturing micro prints on the dollar bill using e-con’s camera!

Here is a video which uses the e-CAM50_CU35x and captures the text micro printed on the dollar bill. The e-CAM50_CU35x connects to the OMAP3530 EVM board on the header dedicated for camera. The coat of benjamin Franklin contains the text “United states of America” and we use a magnifying lens to capture the text. As you can see in the Video, we can use different lenses based on the application. This application requires a narrow viewing angle and also a magnifying lens. e-con provides a list of lens manufacturers to choose from and customers can choose from them based on the application. This particular sensor targets security and surveillance. For more information on the product have a look at the e-CAM50_CU35x page.
