Introducing RouteCAM_CU25: A New Robust Global Shutter GigE Camera for Outdoor Applications

We are excited about our new launch, RouteCAM_CU25_IP67, a new high-performance GigE camera designed for capturing fast-moving scenes at high frame rate in full HD resolution. This camera hosts a consortium of features that are ideal for targeted applications that operate in outdoor environments.

Let us look at the key features of RouteCAM_CU25_IP67:

Global Shutter Sensor: The camera features an onsemi® AR0234 global shutter color image sensor, which minimizes frame-to-frame distortion and reduces motion blur while capturing fast-moving objects. This ensures smoother images with greater scene details, making it ideal for applications such as Intelligent transport systems (ITS), industrial safety, and smart retail.

High Frame Rate: RouteCAM_CU25_IP67 can capture Full HD resolution images at an impressive 60 fps. This high frame rate allows to capture even the most rapid movements with clarity, providing valuable insights for your applications.

Power-over-Ethernet (PoE): The camera supports IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for a separate power supply. This makes the camera ideal for use in remote locations or where power outlets are limited.

Centralized Device Management Platform: The camera is also fully compatible with our innovative cloud-based device management platform – CloVis Central™, ensuring seamless remote management of entire on-field device operations.

Rugged IP67-Rated Enclosure: The camera is housed in a robust IP67-rated enclosure, making it resistant to dust, dirt, and water ingress. This ensures reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments.

GigE Interface: The GigE interface of the camera enables the transfer of video data with a maximum cable length of up to 100 meters. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications where longer cable runs are required.

On-Board High-Performance ISP: The camera is integrated with on-board high-performance ISP that ensures superior image quality by leveraging auto white balance and auto exposure functions. This eliminates the need for external image processing equipment and also guarantees superior fine-tuned ISP functionality.

Apart from the above key features, there are various other functionalities that increase RouteCAM_CU25_IP67‘s performance. It comes with an M12 lens holder, providing flexibility to choose the lens that best suits the customer application’s specific requirements. It also supports multiple streaming formats, which are compressed Full HD data at 60 fps in MJPEG, H.264, and H.265 formats. This enables to choose the format that best balances image quality and bandwidth requirements for the target application.
