Few months back we at e-con systems released a .NetCF 3.9 based custom shell named eShell for Windows embedded compact 2013 specifically to support our DM3730 based computer on module(COM) and its rapid development kit. Later eShell shall be extended to upcoming SOMs and its rapid development kit. We are continuously working on adding features to this shell to facilitate our customers. On that account, we developed a .NetCF 3.9 based Bluetooth framework and this is demonstrated through this shell. This framework support SPP, OBEX, HID and PAN profiles.
The following video demonstrate the Windows Embedded Compact 2013 Bluetooth capabilities with HID profile by connecting the Microsoft Widget touch mouse.

Is Bluetooth smart supported in your shell?

Is BT 4.0 supported in Windows Embedded Compact 2013?
Windows Embedded Compact 2013 supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, if you have a 4.0 module with Dual Band. it will work on Windows CE but not the LE part.
