e-con Systems has partnered with SiMa.ai, the machine learning software-driven company with purpose-built hardware to deploy AI and computer vision at the edge. SiMa.ai Machine Learning System on Chip (MLSoC) platform is a full stack software and silicon solution, with a unified software development environment called “Palette” that supports the full ML application solution development with an effortless create, build, and deploy process.

SiMa.ai's MLSoC™ kit seamlessly integrates with e-con Systems' 2MP full HD GigE camera- RouteCAM_CU20 and can act as a standalone edge-based system controller or be used to add an ML offload accelerator for processors, ASICs, etc. RouteCAM_CU20 is a Power Over Ethernet camera that is based on the 1/2.8" Sony STARVIS IMX462 sensor. It is equipped with key features such as low latency, ultra-low-light sensitivity, PTP time network synchronization, onboard ISP, high frame rate, and more. This integrated solution is well-suited for applications such as autonomous mobile robots (AMR), smart traffic systems, drones, smart retail, and more.
