Sensor and Interface :
1. What is e-CAM56_CUOAGX?
e-CAM56_CUOAGX is a 5MP global shutter camera module built around the IMX568, a Sony Pregius S image sensor with a 1/1.8-inch optical format. The camera module is compatible with NVIDIA® Jetson™ Orin, providing excellent low-light performance and high frame rate capabilities.
2. Can I use this camera under NIR (Near InfraRed) light conditions?
The default lens supplied with the camera has an IR cut filter that filters IR light. To evaluate the camera for NIR performance, you can test it using an IR pass lens. For choosing a different lens, kindly share your requirements with us at camerasolutions@e-consystems.com.
3. What is the maximum frame rate and resolution that this camera can achieve?
The supported resolutions and their corresponding frame rates for this camera are listed in the following table.

5. Which interfaces does the IMX568 support?
The IMX568 supports MIPI and GMSL interfaces by default. For the USB interface, please email camerasolutions@e-consystems.com.
6. What is the cable provided with this camera?
The camera comes with a 30cm Coax I-PEX cable.
7. Does e-con Systems® have any plan to support longer cables?
Currently, we provide a very flexible and robust 30cm coaxial cable along with this kit. For a longer cable option, consider NileCAM56, which features the same image sensor with a GMSL interface.
Lens and Enclosure :
8. What is the FOV of the default lens that e-con Systems® offer with Kit?
The default lens supported for the camera shall cover 120°(D), 104.8°(H), 58.7°(V) with the IMX568 sensor.
9. I need a different lens to cover a wider FOV. How to do it?
The camera comes with an M12 lens holder. You can use any standard S-mount lens (M12 x 0.5) with the default lens holder. Please write to sales@e-consystems.com for lens suggestions.
10. Can I change the lens mount from S-mount to C-mount?
It is possible to support a C-mount lens holder as a hardware customization effort. Please write to camerasolutions@e-consystems.com for any customization you might need on the camera. Refer to our camera customization page to know more about the different customization services we offer.
11. What type of enclosure is included with e-CAM56_CUOAGX?
The e-CAM56_CUOAGX camera does not come with an enclosure. If you need an enclosure, please write mail to camerasolutions@e-consystems.com.
12. Can I get an IP67-rated enclosure with this camera?
Yes, you can opt for the STURDeCAM56, which features the same image sensor with a GMSL interface and comes with an IP67-rated enclosure.

13. How can I evaluate this camera?
e-CAM56_CUOAGX is a synchronized solution that can be evaluated using NVIDIA® Jetson™ AGX Orin. It is available in multi-camera options which can be chosen from the Webstore based on your requirement. To know further about Jetson™ AGX Orin™ development kit setup and connections, please refer to the Getting Started manual which can be downloaded from the Developer Resources website.
14. Does this camera support NVIDIA® Jetson™ Orin NX?
By default, e-CAM56_CUOAGX supports the NVIDIA® Jetson™ Orin development kit. However, we readily offer hardware setup for Orin NX and can provide complete support upon request. Please write to us at camerasolutions@e-consystems.com to raise the request.
15. How many cameras can be connected to NVIDIA® AGX Orin development kit?
You can connect and synchronize up to 4 cameras.
16. Does e-CAM56_CUOAGX have a trigger option?
Yes, the hardware supports an external trigger that ensures precise synchronization for coordinated multi-camera capture.
17. Does this camera come with an onboard ISP?
This camera doesn't have an onboard ISP and instead utilizes the NVIDIA® Jetson™ ISP when connected to Jetson™ platforms.

18. How can I get the software package and its updates?
After purchase, please log in to the Developer Resources website using the credentials that you will receive via email and download the latest release package.
19. Does e-con offer driver support for connecting e-CAM56_CUOAGX to custom carrier boards?
Yes, e-con provides the necessary customization support to develop a driver for custom carrier boards.
20. Can e-con Systems® adjust the camera for specific image quality?
Yes, e-con Systems® can fine-tune NVIDIA® ISP to meet specific requirements.
