2. What makes See3CAM_CU83 unique?
See3CAM_CU83 can simultaneously stream both RGB and IR frames using an FPGA with e-con's proprietary algorithms to separate the RGB and IR frames. And with the built-in ISP fine-tunes the RGB frames while streaming IR frames separately.

6. Is there any special configuration needed for dual-mode (RGB+IR) operation?
Yes, a special configuration is required for dual streaming (RGB+IR). You need to use our proprietary application, which follows a specific logic to separate the processed color (RGB) and IR frames, to preview both streams.
7. Can I get the IR stream alone?
You can capture the IR stream alone by selecting a resolution of 920 x 675. The IR stream will be available in Y16 format with 10-bit RAW output.
8. How can the camera's frame rate be controlled?
The frame rate can be adjusted through Human Interface Device (HID) controls, allowing users to set a custom frame rate depending on their application.
9. Does the camera handle light flicker (e.g., from fluorescent lights)?
Yes, the camera features an anti-flicker mode, designed to reduce or eliminate flicker from artificial light sources such as fluorescent or LED lights.
10. Will See3CAM_CU83 support both 850nm and 940nm IR spectrums?
Yes, the See3CAM_CU83 camera can operate with both 850nm and 940nm IR wavelengths. Currently, the camera is equipped with a 940nm IR filter that is fine-tuned to deliver high-quality images in both RGB and IR modes. 14. Can I use my 850nm bandpass filter lens with the 940nm variant of See3CAM_CU83?
No, the 850nm bandpass filter should not be used with the 940nm variant, as the camera requires different image tuning for each IR spectrum.

No, the camera is UVC compliant and works with standard drivers available in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
